A theropod dinosaur tooth from the Kem Kem Beds of Morocco. This is one of those Kem Kem mystery teeth and comes from a theropod which is yet to be described. It comes labelled and stored in an acrylic case with padding.
For those who want a bit more detail on the tooth:
The mesial carina is straight and extends 2/3 of the way down the crown.
Distal serration count: 13 per 5mm
Mesial serration count: 17 per 5mm
Mesial serration density is greater than the distal density, but the tooth is too robust for any kind of dromaeosaur.
