Baltic amber, is a fossilised tree resin that formed during the Eocene epoch in the lush forests of northern Europe. Originating primarily from regions around the Baltic Sea, such as Poland, Lithuania, and Russia, this amber is renowned for its warm golden hues, ranging from pale yellow to deep orange, and its occasional inclusions of ancient insects, plants, or even small vertebrates. These perfectly preserved snapshots of prehistoric life make Baltic amber a treasure for scientists and collectors alike, offering clues about ecosystems from the Eocene epoch.

The amber comes stored in a floating display case, complete with label detailing the age of the amber and type of inclusion (amber can be removed from the case).

This is genuine fossil. All the specimens we offer come with a lifetime authenticity guarantee.
