Tyrannosaurus rex Tooth Enamel

Offered here is a piece of tooth enamel from one of the largest terrestrial predators to ever live, Tyrannosaurus rex. It comes from the Hell Creek Formation in Carter County, Montana. This formation was laid down by ancient floodplains in the Late Cretaceous and preserves fossils of Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus, as well as many other well known dinosaurs. Its top, the K-Pg boundary, marks the asteroid impact that ended the dinosaurs.

This is a sizeable chunk of enamel and comes from a tooth which was found shattered into many pieces. Unlike whole rex teeth which often run into the thousands of pounds, this is an extremely affordable way to own a genuine T. rex fossil! It comes stored in a display box featuring the specimen name, region it was found, age and a QR code linking to some information about T. rex (fossil can be removed from the box).
