Megalodon Tooth

Megalodon, meaning "big tooth," was a massive prehistoric shark that lived in the oceans of the world during the Miocene and Pliocene epochs, roughly 23 to 3.6 million years ago. It is considered one of the largest predators to ever exist on Earth. It is estimated that Megalodon could have grown up to 75 feet long and weighed as much as 100 tons, making it significantly larger than any modern shark.
