A piece of raw blue apatite (fluorapatite) from Madagascar. It formed millions of years ago when hot, mineral-rich fluids cooled deep within the Earth, allowing calcium, phosphorus, and fluorine to come together and create its vibrant blue crystals inside igneous or metamorphic rocks.

It comes with a display stand, as pictured, and a small card featuring the mineral's name, origin and its chemical formula.
