Mosasaur tooth

One Mosasaur tooth from Khouribga, Morocco. You will receive one tooth, similar to those pictured. Some of these teeth have repairs but all are in good condition overall and none have restoration.

Mosasaurs were a group of large, predatory marine reptiles that lived during the Late Cretaceous period and they were apex predators in the oceans.

The region around Khouribga, Morocco where these teeth were found, is renowned for its rich fossil deposits. The phosphate mines here expose marine sediments that preserve a diverse vertebrate fauna, including mosasaurs, plesiosaurs, and various sharks, rays, and fish like Enchodus.   

Each tooth comes stored in a display box featuring the specimen name, region it was found, age and a QR code linking to some information about mosasaurs (fossil can be removed from the box).
