A fossil Majungasaurus tooth from the Elrhaz Formation of Niger. Majungasaurus was a bipedal theropod dinosaur, living in what is modern day Madagascar right at the end of the Cretaceous period.  It was one of the last dinosaurs to roam the earth before the KT extinction event and was similar in size to its close relative Carnotaurus, growing up to 7m in length.
