A fossil Suchomimus tooth from the Elrhaz Formation of Niger. Named and described in 1998, Suchomimus was a spinosaurid dinosaur which lived during the Early Cretaceous period in what is now modern day Niger. It was a large theropod with a long, narrow skull and could reach lengths of up to 9.5-11 meters.
