RARE Tyrannosaur Tooth (North Carolina)

Description

A rare Tyrannosaur tooth from Bladen County, North Carolina.  

The tooth features some portions of good enamel and clear serrations on the distal edge, as well as some wear to the tip.  Serration density is 13/5mm midline on the distal edge.  This tooth may belong to the Tyrannosauroid Appalachiosaurus, Dryptosaurus or another undescribed Tyrannosaur. A very rare and interesting tooth! Comes labelled and stored in an acrylic case with padding.
