Description

A rare sauropod tooth from the Ksar Metlili Formation of the Atlas Mountains, Morocco.  This formation captures the transition from Jurassic to Cretaceous periods and dates to 152 - 140 million years old.  There is very little published on the dinosaur fauna in this formation.

This tooth rests on its original matrix.

Comes with a small wood and metal display stand - photos coming shortly.

Condition: Good

Size: 1.19 inches (tooth, excluding surrounding rock)

Age: 152 - 140 Million Years (Upper Jurassic/Lower Cretaceous)
