Protoceratops Teeth #03

Description

A very rare piece of Protoceratops jaw with two teeth from the Djadochta Formation.  Protoceratops was a small, herbivorous ceratopsian dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous of modern day Mongolia.  It lived alongside and was preyed upon by dinosaurs such as Tarbosaurus and Velociraptor.

This is an interesting piece, with two partially worn teeth.  Comes labelled and stored in an acrylic case with padding.

Age: 71-75 Million Years
