Seal Tibia (North Sea) #01

A rare, pleistocene age seal Tibia.  This piece was collected from the North Sea by fishermen while dredging.  It comes from an area known as Brown Bank, one of the deepest parts of the North Sea.  The age of the fossil beds here are thought to be ipswichian to early Devensian.
