Southern Mammoth Tooth, Serbia #06

A rare partial Southern Mammoth tooth from river gravel deposits in Serbia.  These are much rarer and older than North Sea mammoth teeth - the Southern Mammoth (Mammuthus meridionalis) lived between 1.5 - 2.5 million years ago.
