Hell Creek Amber (Late Cretaceous)

A very rare piece of Cretaceous age amber from the Hell Creek Formation.  Hell Creek is famous for its late Cretaceous dinosaur fossils.  Amber is rarely found in this formation but is characterised by its blood red colouration, as can be seen here.  A rare and interesting piece.
