Leptoceratops

"Small horn face"

Leptoceratops was a small, herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 72 to 65.5 million years ago. Its fossils have been found primarily in North America. Despite its name, which translates to "small horn face," Leptoceratops did not possess prominent horns like some of its larger relatives. Instead, it had a relatively small, parrot-like beak and a short, bony frill on the back of its skull.

Its sturdy build and powerful limbs suggest that it was bipedal when moving at speed and quadrupedal when moving slowly. Leptoceratops was a relatively common dinosaur during its time, and its fossils have provided valuable insights into the diversity and evolution of ceratopsian dinosaurs.
