carcharodontosaurus
"Jagged toothed lizard"
Carcharodontosaurus was a massive carnivorous dinosaur, measuring up to 10 - 12.5m, that lived in North Africa during the Late Cretaceous period. It was one of the largest land predators of its time, rivaling Tyrannosaurus Rex in size and ferocity.
Carcharodontosaurus had a long, slender body and powerful hind legs, making it a formidable hunter. Its most distinctive feature was its serrated teeth, which resembled those of a great white shark. These teeth were well-suited for tearing into the flesh of its prey, allowing it to inflict devastating wounds. Carcharodontosaurus is believed to have hunted large herbivorous dinosaurs such as sauropods.

Carcharodontosaurus may have been a faster runner than Tyrannosaurus Rex. While both dinosaurs were formidable predators, Carcharodontosaurus had longer legs and a more slender build, suggesting that it was better adapted for speed.
