Large Theropod Hand Claw (Suchomimus?)

Description

A large theropod claw from the Elrhaz Formation.  There is nothing published in the scientific literature describing Suchomimus claws, however comparing it to those of Baryonyx, it would appear to be a Suchomimus hand claw.

As with almost all large claws from this region, the tip and articulation side are missing (many of those offered for sale with tips intact are heavily restored).  This claw has no repairs or restoration and has a nice deep blood groove running down one side.

Condition: Good

Size: 3 inch (straight line, not along the curve)

Age: 112 Million Years

Locality: Gadaoufa, Tenere Desert, Niger (Elrhaz Formation)
