Tyrannosaurid Tooth, Hell Creek Fm. (1.03 inch)

Description

A Tyrannosaurid dinosaur tooth from the Hell Creek Formation.  A  nice tooth with good serrations.  It belongs to either Tyrannosaurus rex or Nanotyrannus.  Given the tooth is quite robust, it most likely came from a T. rex, however the "pinch" at the base is feature characteristic of Nanotyrannus teeth.  For that reason it is sold as an indeterminate tyrannosaurid tooth. Comes labelled and stored in an acrylic case with padding.
